This pricing guide outlines all current guided trip options offered by Backcountry Guide Co. All winter trips are snowmobile-based and guided by Chris. Summer trips are guided big-water fishing charters on Lake of the Woods.
We offer two winter package options so guests can choose the experience level that fits their goals and budget.
Our flagship winter package. Everything is included—gear, electronics, meals, and beverages—for a turnkey backcountry experience.
A lower-entry option that still includes guided snowmobile access and a heated setup. Fishing gear, electronics, and meals can be added as needed.

Canada trips offer more space, less pressure, and a true backcountry feel. Valid border documentation is required.

We offer stand-alone snowmobile rentals for guests who want to explore the area on their own. All machines are new or very current, well-maintained, and include a safety briefing and route suggestions based on current local conditions.
Summer trips are guided open-water fishing charters on Lake of the Woods using fully rigged Ranger / Warrior-class boats. Trips are tailored to the group and may target walleye, crappie, muskie, northern pike, or mixed species depending on season and conditions.
Warrior and Ranger boats can comfortably fish up to five anglers depending on conditions.
Trips will not start earlier than 30 minutes before sunrise or later than 30 minutes after sunset.
